Friend or Foe?

Most of us would never speak to a dear friend the way we sometimes speak to ourselves.

We criticize our bodies.
We focus on what they aren't instead of appreciating all they are.

What if today you chose something different?

I invite you to practice be-friending yourself today.

Treat your body with the same kindness and respect you so freely offer others.

That doesn't mean giving up on your health goals. It means pursuing them from a place of self-respect instead of self-criticism.

Nourish your body with wholesome foods because it deserves good fuel.

Move because your body was made to move—not because you need to "earn" your food by burning calories.

Rest when you're tired.

Celebrate the small victories.

Offer yourself grace when life gets messy --without it turning into a chronic state of letting yourself 'off the hook'.

Your body has carried you through every chapter of your life. It has earned your compassion.

Real, lasting wellness isn't built on punishment.
It's built on partnership.

💜 Today, ask yourself: "If I were my own best friend, how would I care for myself today?"
