Like many women, I’ve struggled with self-care, food and body image. I felt stuck and frustrated for years. Many of my former habits felt good in the moment, but ultimately kept me from being my best self. It wasn't until I sought help that I was able to step off the ‘struggle bus’ and find more joy and freedom. With professional support and accountability, I shed 30 pounds and became more attuned to my daily energy and overall health. I was able to release habits that kept me stuck to find a deep, lasting peace and confidence.
Those years of struggle and then the breakthroughs led me to a career as a whole health coach and fitness trainer.
For 11 years, as the founder and CEO of WhyPowered Health Coaching, I’ve helped women 50+ cut through the noise of modern wellness to find a clear, sustainable path to feeling stronger, more confident and in charge of their health again thru highly personalized coaching that fits.

A cornerstone of sustainable, whole health is a balanced life. Outside of my coaching work, I find joy in connecting with my loving and supportive husband, my parents, brother, and sister. I love dark chocolate and cooking. I engage in a daily practice of movement and gratitude. I’ve rolled up my sleeve 155 times (and counting!) to share my good health through platelet and whole blood donations. And our clowder of four cats? Three "elders" and a rescued black kitten we call ‘Lucky’, keep me smiling.
